Did it last year.

Went through every photo album, letter, postcard, certificate etc etc.

Scanned and digitised and sent to various family members so there are copies all over the place.
Black Holes happen when God divides by zero.

That's the easy bit Mark! It is the endless opening at regular intervals, and possible reformatting, that will be my downfall I think :-)
