You need to have a word document open -- then find the screen you want and push print screen -- nothing will appear to happen -- go back to the word document and press paste and trust -- the screen shot magically seems to appear!

you can also print screen button go into accesories go down to paint open that up and paste into there this will allow you to edit it and crop it etc.

I use this for pdf files, you just need to choose the correct format when you save ie jpg or bmp.

If you have Windows 7 it comes with a Snippet tool so you can capture just the part you want.

Yes Mark I do have windows 7 and have the snippet tool but I don't have much luck at using it I end up with wrong bit.

One thing I've noticed is that screen size and therefore number of pixels affects the resolution of the image that is saved! On my laptop, the resolution is not good, but if I use the computers at work (which have a very high resolution as they are for diagnostic purposes), the image quality is greatly increased!
