*Arc tbc* ---Richard and Mary Ann Beddall
On 13 September 1861 Richard Beddall, son of Joseph Beddall, married Mary Ann Plant, daughter of Ezekiel and Abiah Plant, at St Thomas's church, Dudley, Worcs. They were witnesses at the marriage of Mary Ann's brother, David Simeon Plant and Emma Johnson in Halesowen the following year, but then they seem to disappear from the records. Does anyone know what happened to them? Did they have children? Did they perhaps emigrate?

Re: Richard and Mary Ann Beddall
I was trying to address where Mary Ann had disappeared too, so I didn't bother to mention the Beddal references at Gosty Cottages
I do not have access to Ancestry or find my past, so someone will have to check censuses after 1881 for Smith.
Checking where the children have gone might be possible, cheers

Mary Smith 48 - Nailer
Arthur Smith 17 - Ag lab

Louie Smith 14 - daug

Re: Richard and Mary Ann Beddall
Very many thanks, all of you. It looks as if Mary Beddall remarried (although I've not yet found the record) to a Thomas Smith b. Gorsty Hill and had more children, in addition to Thomas and William Beddall: Arthur Smith and Martha L Smith, possibly known as Louie. They all seem to be out in the country at Wombourne in 1891!
