I am researching this man. I know a bit about him already, but I cant find out if he was married and had children. Nothing jumps out of the BMD.
Can anyone tell me if he married in Scotland or about his parents or siblings in Scotland

Re: RRF MacLennan
The one thing that jumps out, maybe cause I know nothing about Rugby, but if he was born in Scotland, how could he play for England?

If one or both parents are English then you have a choice.
I don't think you can change once you choose though.

Re: RRF MacLennan
In 1963 in British Phone Books, there's a listing for :
MacLennan, Roderick R F, Address:Coolbeg Cultra; Exchange: Holywd
In 1965, 1968 1970,1971 Aberdeen directories, same name, different address:
An Cluaran, exchange: Croy.
There's not much from Scotland on the various sites - try Scotland's people, but it's with credits!

Re: RRF MacLennan
There's also these in the 1950/51/52 Phone Books
Roderick R. F MacLennan
Address: 4- Darnley Rd West Park, 6
Exchange: Leeds
In 1955/56/57/58/59
Address: 4 Oaklands, 3
Exchange: Gosforth
In 1964 I've found him again at Coolbeg Cultra (Norfolk) and then in 1977 /1981/ 1982 /1984 at 10 Glebe Road, Nairn.
There's no saying that all of these are your man, but they've all got the middle initials and none of the time frames overlap! It's a starting point.
