They may have married, but their marriage hasn't been recorded on the IGI. Not all churches were recorded, usually only the main parish church. You might find them, if you had the time, look through all the church records in the area where they lived, but that's not always possible. I haven't been able to find marriages for some of my ancestors in Wales, for the same reason.

Should have said - it's worth keep checking on the new IGI Beta site - much more records are being added now.

It's Family Search, but they now have a new site where new records are added all the time - here is the link

https://www.familysearch.org/ - go into advanced search - you may find a few extra rellies
