Strangest thing you have eaten...

Post by MarkCDodd »

I have tried witchetty grubs. Raw and wriggling. Tasted very nutty but a little greasy.

I have ate Red Belly Black snake. One of the few things that actually tastes like chicken.

I have tried Goanna as well.

I used to love Black Pudding till I saw how they make it.

I enjoyed Lambs Brain sandwiches for many years as a kid.

I love kanagaroo and always have some in the freezer.

Emu is not bad if a bit "game" and tough as old leather if not cooked right.

Some of these look yummy....

I ate something once in China that looked like lizards' tails. Couldn't understand the explanation of what it was, so I still think it was lizard's tails. The sauce was nice :?
Some mistakes are too much fun
to only make once.

Lumps of tarmac from the side of the road when they had gone hard after it had been tarmaced. I know - disgusting, especially as the rag and bone mad had a horse. Loved it though - mom used to threaten to wash me mouth out if I did it again. Still love the smell of tarmac.
