This is my great uncle, Antie Em, Joseph Smith Plant b. Langley, Oldbury 1847, son of Warwick Plant, he married Sarah Ann Watson b. 1852 Long Buckby, Northants in 1869 St Thomas's Dudley, they had an adopted daughter Maud Eaton. He's not the same as Joseph Plant of Oldbury, son of William, who remains a mystery to me. There are at least three separate Plant lines in the Black Country but I can't yet fit this chap into any!
