That thought worries me and I am trying to find William 1874 birth certificate ( everything is still in chaos from when my Mum died and her furniture moved in with me!!) which I know quotes Mary and William as parents although she claims to be married to William which she obviously wasn't as they didn't marry until John was on the way.
I suppose to be more sure that my Mary Ann was not married to George and had William I will have to track this one down and exclude him.
