THE NEXT BOOK IS...

House Rules by Jodi Picoult

I've just borrowed it from the library today. I've read quite a few of her books and although they are a bit formulaic (if that is a word?) then they do at least run along quickly :-)

Going to order this book this week

is there only 3 of us doing this one?

think we might shelve this after this one above
but I want to read it

anyone joining us

it is the read for Feb- April

then shall we play somat else

ideas ?

It worked in the usual easy-going way!

Each month anyone who was interested could post the name of a dish to cook. Then we voted on the dishes, chose one, and the person behind it posted the recipe. Then we had the rest of the month to cook it and give a verdict +/- pictures.

It was fun. Even though some people were inclined to whine "I don't like pears" and stuff like that

here it is.....

Hi guys...

We are going to have a Monthly Cook in or Cook off!

Get those recipe books down and look for somat really great that we can all have a go at cookin'!

So once a month we will feature a recipe from someone and we will all have a go at cooking it.
Hopefully all on the same evening!
or if not certainly that same week..... then report back the following week.

So the challenge is post a recipe
we will then vote on which one... I will put a poll up when we have a few in.

Just a main course to start with see how it goes.
and just the name of the dish to start with please, then whoever wins can post the cookin method too.....ok? easy peasy eh?
We will then all cook it and let everyone know whether we liked it or not and putting the following on...

 = Loved it!
:-) =Good!
:? = not too sure!
:( = Sorry hated it!

and feel free to take a photo!

So come on all you budding Gordon Ramseys....who will start the ball rolling?
What are we going to be cooking in the last week of the month?
