We've now got about 8cm of snow. My husbands out "blowing" it with our leaf blower (boys and their toys  ), good it's got a second use! We did a deal, he cleared the snow, I bake cookies! My kind of deal too! :P
Don't have the heart to tell him that it'll have snowed at least as much again by the time we leave for work!

minus 15 when we left for work, minus 9 on the way home, minus 15 now. It's another clear night, so it's going to be even colder!
Traffic home was horrendus, took nearly half an hour to drive 5 km, not because of the snow but because everyone seemed to have turned into snails. Don't think we got above 55kmph, until we turned into our road (which isn't cleared of snow).

Done most of the shopping now, only the last minute milk, bread etc to get on thursday. So I can relax the next couple of days, no work - just genealogy (I hope!).

Change of subject!
Did anyone see the lunar eclipse this morning - the windows at work were facing the right way, so we had a good view!

They had to close one lane of the moterway over Fyn (the island Funen to you lot), as it was clear of snow, but very icey - salt wouldn't help as it was too cold!

We've since had another lot of snow, not too much here, but there've been loads of cancelled trains as it's really bad some places.
Over on Bornholm (an island just south of Sweden) they've had nearly a meter of snow in total! And the winds picking up so it's starting to drift too.
My husbands patience was tested yesterday, it took him an hour longer to get home than normal, a journey of about 20km, that in a normal "rush hour" takes about 20-25 mins! He ended up taking a short cut down some of the smaller roads(not cleared of snow), and that helped a lot.

One of my collegues managed to get away to New York yesterday, luckily as there are delays today, but nowhere near as bad as Heathrow!
