I am new to this site so please bear with me, I am here because I placed an Article in the Black Country Bugle in Dec 2008. The Article was about the Triple Drowning Tradegy at Windmill End in Netherton on Christmas Eve 1914. Samuel Crew Jnr was my Grandfathers Brother and phylis Chandler was his Girlfriend. I received an e-mail from as a result of that article and was given a link to this site for which I am very greatfull. I would be happy to liase with any one researching the same family history, I have been tracing my family tree since the early 90's so have lots of info to share, for instance there were two Crew family's living in Netherton from the 1750'S onwards I have found two instances where they were joined by marriages, this makes for interesting Genealogy Crew nee Crew and then marrys her husbands brother after his death. I look forward to hearing from anyone

Re: Crew Family History
Thanks for that Crewbie
as you know we have a Black Country Connections tree going and if you would like to add your research information to that then do pm me and I will let you know how it works.
When I went to the archives last week I looked up the burial information and if you would like a copy I will send it to you
