*Arc tbc* ---Help needed

Post by Matty Boy »

Am trying to find out whatever happened to my dad's half-brother. His name is Lester John Cockram born 14 Feb 1903 in Edmonton, London. He appears on 1911 census, 3 Nov 1923 as an incoming passenger on ship from Quebec, Sept 1927 as witness to his brother's marriage and on his own marriage cert to Emily Mary Johnson on 15 Feb 1934 then the trail goes cold. Have looked for deaths from 1934 onwards but can find no mention of either Lester or his wife after this date. Family rumours were that he emigrated to Canada but we think that may be in relation to him coming back in 1923. Have done a worldwide search through ancestery.co.uk with no luck.

Any ideas what we can do next?

Regards
Matt

Its a cheap subscription for the amount of data it gives per electoral role search.
