HarryinKF and myself are trying to sort out which Ira Dingley born c.1836 married Phoebe Hipkiss in c.1858. We now have two lines on bcc with a third Ira Hipkiss born 1836 Titford Langley eliminated as although went to live at The Hill Halesowen is a totally different Ira than two already on bcc.
On Ancestry Sue Toller,Midhill,& Linda Stoker have trees showing line from Ira Dingley born 1836 & Pheobe Hipkiss runs back to William Dingley born 1810/1811 married to Rebecca Hadley and then to Ira Dingley born 1789 married to Elizabeth Unknown and then to William Dingley born 1755 married to Nancy Priest.
On bcc we have a line from Ira Dingley married to Phoebe Hipkiss and then to William Dingley born 1786 married to Phoebe Dean and then to William Dingley born 1755 married to Nancy Priest.
The other line is shown on bcc but with Ira Dingley married to no-one.
To resolve we need to identify who were parents of Ira who married Pheobe Hipkiss.
I also note that death of William Dingley born 1810 looks incorrect as he had children born after death.
*Archived*-Ira Dingley

Re: Ira Dingley
I would say that the other children born after 1842 had a different father, which happens.
Re: Ira Dingley
Hi a quick answer on the William that died in 1842.
He was my Great Great Grandfather and Ancestor of most of the Dingleys from the Halesowen area.
From the researh that a number of his Descentants participated in several years ago.
1.
LDS, IGI Chr. of William DINGLEY 1755.
"William DINGLEY son of Edward and Sarah 12 Jan 1755.".
2.
PRO, 1841 Census William DINGLEY nfo from Harry Vincett:.
"My understanding is that in the 1841 census there was a William (85) and aSarah (70) living in Cocksheds, Halesowen with their
son Robert, and nextdoor was another son Henry, and also next door Ira (a Publican) who was theson of an earlier marriage (pro.".
3.
Burial of William DINGLEY 1842.
"Burial of a "Very Elderly" William DINGLEY 1842 - Coseley Records OfficeInformation from .".
4.
General Register Office, England, Death of Wm DINGLEY-1842.
"CERTIFIED COPY OF AN ENTRY OF DEATH Application Number PAS 602332/2/2001REGISTRATION DISTRICT
Stourbridge1842 DEATH in the Sub-district of Halesowen in the Counties of Worcester and Salop# When/Where Died Name/
This group agrees with the trees of Sue Toller,Midhill,& Linda Stoker "On Ancestry Sue Toller,Midhill,& Linda Stoker have trees showing line from Ira Dingley born 1836 & Pheobe Hipkiss runs back to William Dingley born 1810/1811 married to Rebecca Hadley and then to Ira Dingley born 1789 married to Elizabeth Unknown and then to William Dingley born 1755 married to Nancy Priest."
Might add that both Ira's were born c. 1836. One was an Engineer on the 1851 census and one was a Nailor.
Got a bit longer than I meant
