hi everyone,thank you for welcoming me to your site.i am trying to trace benjamin skidmore born in dudley in 1881 its a bit complicated i am intrested in going forward before i go back.i know he went to canada where he married eleanor hobson born 1884 in holmfirth uk and died in1922 in rhode island usa,he seems to have dissapeared then,what i would like to know is how do i trace him from his birth to death,sorry its a long post and thanks to everyone

I can't find his trip to Canada but he crossed into the USA on the 15th December 1906 at Niagra Falls. The card is hard to read but he was going to visit his Mother In Law, Anna Hobson

I think he says he arrived in Halifax on the 18th December 1903 aboard the Parisian. I will see if I can find the ship manifest....
