Just a thought as you have tried before and not found Harriet Williams is she the niece of his wife and the person collecteing the details assumed the sme surname?

That could be a possiblilty, never thourght of that one, but with the little information i have on the Barnes side of the family atm, the only other names i have come across is a John Barnes B: abt 1858 Staffordshire, who is Caroline Williamson Nee Barnes brother.

Im still awaiting some certs to come in for Elijah Barnes and Hannah (possible the 2nd wife to come in) hope fully this week:)
