This is one that I looked up last week Pete, sorry, I think it must be his age and I've hit the wrong keys. I'm not at home at the mo, so when I get back I'll recheck my notes.

If John is 23 at marriage (born 1857), then he is possibly not the one on the census that we have on BCC at that link you have given, Mally. The one born in Wales appears to have been born about 10 years earlier.

Perhaps this one would better fit the ages of John Fellows and Ellen Blakeway? ...

1881 At Inhedge ?, Sedgley (Next to 2 other families of 'Fellows')
John Fellows Head 25 Bricklayer b. Staffs., Upper Gornal
Ellen Fellows Wife 21 Nail Maker b. Staffs., Upper Gornal
William H. Fellows Son 5 mo. b. Staffs., Upper Gornal

1891 At 5 Inhedge, Sedgley
John Fellows Head 33 Bricklayer b. Staffs., Sedgley
Ellen Fellows Wife 30 b. Staffs., Sedgley
William H Fellows Son 10 Scholar b. Staffs., Sedgley

1901 At 40H Inhedge St., Sedgley
John Fellows Head 44 Bricklayer b. Staffs., Upper Gornal
Ellen Fellows Wife 42 b. Staffs., Upper Gornal
William H Fellows Son S 20 Bricklayer b. Staffs., Upper Gornal
