Hello All

just to let you know I have joined your forum :o , I have been researching my tree for a couple of years, mainly on the net, after picking up where my dad left off, which was done through the records offices. 95% (or is it 96% :roll: ) of my family are black country. I am especially interested in the Heathcock and Hutchinson name (Hutchinson being the one branch which originate from Kegworth, Leics who I am desperate to progress back beyond 1841) Other later names in my tree are Taylor, Mansell, Tromans, Slater, Hodgekiss, Bennett, Hickman, Pearson. Earlier ones are Siviter, Cornfield, Hornblower,Share, Nock.

Looking forward to sharing info with you all

You share some of those surnames with quite a lot of us on here. Do have a look at the Black Country Connections Tree that Northern Lass mentioned. It wouldn't be surprising if you found some of your folks already on there.
