Re: Samuel Priest born abt 1839
Ok let's get this one put to bed then I can sort me look ups out!
this is what I think
Samuel is son of John and Rosanna Priest
on census in 1841
She dies in 1844
he dies earlier in 1844
Samuel is taken in by Joseph Priest
brother to Rosannah Priest
Rosannah is on BCC here
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =896506956
maybe...I think that is her
but
it is pushing it for Joseph Priest hwo has Samuel Priest as nephew in 1851, to be her brother
but
there is a bapt at Halesowen ....could be
or is 30 years pushing it re child bearing
The vicar at RR was Lyttleton Perry and made them attend Clent for bapts etc
so some went to halesowen rather than trek over there
and this time period is covered
but still 30 years child bearing
but if you can have one in 1798.... who knows

what do we think
