noticed on the 1891 couple of houses from Henry Harris a John Taylor age 40 lodger and from middlesex

also coincidently on the 1891 there was at Barton Irwell? Lancs a William Harris b 1872 b Devonshire.

So yes I agree Pete we can add this info to connections but it needs Paul to confirm via poss a birth cert that the Parents of Bessie are William Harris and Annie someone prob Bowdler.
then think it would look good for a connection

I am all the way back to 1816 on the Harris side from Census etc. The Pendleton side is indeed the Harris family. I have traced them back to Stourbridge. Next door to Brierley I believe...

In my research on the Harris side I have Annie as Bessies mother but have never confirmed a Maiden name. William b1872 Openshaw,Manchester is her Father.

Its got me really confused on the John Firth Taylor stuff though...

I have looked at Connections and can't see any link from any children I have in my tree.

How do I get an access code for the connections. It looks fab... Are you responsible for it?

Hi Paul

That line we have is the other line of Plants as I mentioned there are apparently 3 at the moment unconnected lines of Plants in that Stourbridge area... so they must link somehow.

Your line I have been given info to put on but not started that yet. So that will go on asap.

The Black Country Connections is a site that my cousin and I set up to see how we all link together in that area of the Midlands Known as the Black Country and surrounding areas (bit of a flexible boundary)... but it is a huge team effort with other people we invite in adding their ancestors.
