I agree Annie, my Spinal Stenosis kills me when I walk more than about 50 yards.

I think old age is wonderful!
Someone sends me money every fortnight for not working, I get free travel on the railways, and I don't feel at all old! (Well, not today anyway)
Some mistakes are too much fun
to only make once.

Absolutely - I have a part time job only when I want to work, get my pensions, my kids cook my dinners, I get free train journeys into Brum, my hairdresser gives me cheaper hairdo's and I certainly don't feel old. Still can't stop the "feeling guilty" thing though if I have a day doing nothing.
There's no place like home ......

The worst bit is I remember my parents moaning about my grandparents strange ways as they got older - now they've developed those same strange ways......

..........I now know what's coming when it's my turn

I agree with all that Dianel those bits are wonderful , it's the other aching bits that comes with it I don't like , and like Jimmy find it hard to walk some days, but I'm not going to grumble I can get about and there are people much worse than I am.

At the moment I'd say thirty nine and a half
I've got a sneaky suspicion that my slipped disc is about to reveal it's ugly head again.
