Re: *Arc tbc* ---Eli Smith b abt 1821
Think I've sorted them all now - I've put some comments on the tree and have a couple of lookups to do. I have added Thomas born 1831 - but I haven't removed the first Thomas - don't know where to link him to - his parents are Eli and Ann Smith, perhaps he is a nephew of Eli - there is another child - Jacob, Baptised 15 Nov 1802 - I'll look this one up at the Archives, but I can't find him in 1841.
Not sure who William is with Mary in 1841, can't find a baptism, but I think Jacob and William are his children
Found him in 1861
1851 : Churchbridge, Langley, Oldbury
William Smith, Head, 40, Coal Miner
Phoebe Smith, Wife 31
William Smith, Son, 13
Matilda Smith, Daur, 12, Nailer
Solomon Smith, Son 8
Louisa Smith, Daur, 6
Mercy Smith, Daur, 4
Benjamin Smith, Son 2
Eli Smith, Son 1
All Born in Oldbury
There is a marriage in 1841 at St Thomas for William Smith and Phoebe Shaw- will look at this and find his father
In 1841 :
1841 : Todd Row, Oldbury
Sedonia Assill, Widow, 45, Brick Maker
Richard Assill, 13, Coal Miner
Thomas Assill, 10, Coal Miner
Hannah Shaw, 20,
Phoebe Shaw, 20
Daniel Shaw, 15
Henry Shaw, 3
Matilda Shaw 3
All Born in County
Henry Shaw - Christened 15 April 1838 - Oldbury - Son of Hannah Shaw
Can't find a baptism for Matilda

Yes - think so - I've taken all the information I can now from this thread. Will carry on adding family to the tree where I can
