Does anyone know if one can claim back the VAT paid
on Solicitors fees.

I wouldn't have thourght so, but it probably depends on the reason for use of solicitor. If it's part of a buisness then yes, but if you're the "end user" so to speak, then probably no. :(

Had a word with my daughter and although she deals in family law, not corporate, she thinks that if you have used a solicitor in the course of your business, then it is a service and you should be able to claim back the VAT.
