Hi I've just joined. I've already done quite bit of family research and have reached one or two brick walls. Places of interest are Ireland, Birmingham, Sheffield, London, Southampton and Liverpool. My immediate interest is trying to find records of merchant ships and seaman during 2nd WW. Hopefully, I am now going to post on the correct thread. Thanks for having me.

Thank you for all your welcomes. I think I may have posted in the wrong place as I haven't had any replies or maybe it's just that no-one that's looked knows the answer to my question. I'm going to try somewhere else.
