Hi,
I am looking for the mother of Sarah Jane Jones born about 1863 Pensnett, she is my great grandmother, I have her marriage certificate to John jones on 24.5.1885 at the parish church Dudley, from that I know her father was joseph Jones miner. I can't find her on any census until her marriage. I don't know if she had any siblings, she and her husband had 7 children, Mary Emma 1886, Fanny 1887, John J 1890, William Henry 1894, Joseph Henry 1897 and leah 1900.
From my mother it seems that Sarah Jane lived all her life in Pensnett and is buried at St. Marks church. Looking for Jones's is like looking for a needle in the haystack.
