Whilst browsing the blackcountry history website I accidentally came across a name I knew. It was my gd mothers first husband's fathers will. He was John Johnson from 24 Scholding Green and he was a chain manufacturer. It would be interesting to see this as his son died when he was 32 leaving my gd mother with a very young baby and a two year old. She did later remarry my gd father but I would love to see if he left anything to his gd children. Probably not as they were dirt poor and he had several children of his own.

NL you saw the will of John Round. Was it on film or what. This ref says it was page 24 in the will book 1914-1931. Ref DBANN/2/1/3

Hi SS the will I got was from Worcs archives that John Round died 1847

which archives is that will you saw at?

Ok I have looked this up and have the details sending you info asap SS

But I wanted to say anyone would like the info on this I will be adding it to the Connections tree too.

The book the will is from is from Solicitors in Stourbridge called Bannister and King
and is stuffed full of Wills!
So do use that Black Country History website to search for wills as it is very very good
