COMPLETED*** MISSING CHILD
In the census of 1901 James and Elizabeth Ormerod of Blackburn have a son called Tom age 18 ,( he was actually born in 1882) , but he does not appear on the 1891 census with his parents , they are clearly listed , he would be only 9 years old , he wasnt adopted because i've found his birth reference which matches his mother's maiden name
any ideas?

He might just have been visiting for a night or two... to give his mother a rest? Or help out at his grandparents? Or just for a visit?

Re: MISSING CHILD
236 bolton rd blackburn is right opposite the blackburn rovers football ground , on march 21st 1891 blackburn rovers won the f a cup final and the census took place on 5th april , i wonder if the young thomas ormerod was a supporter of blackburn rovers and stayed at his grandparents house while there was some kind of victory parade or something
edit : england played scotland at blackburns ground april 6th 1891
