Help please with Elizabeth Lacey

Hi I am trying to help a friend of mine, and I am stuck on his great great gran Elizabeth nee ? Married surname Lacey.

This is what I am working on

Elizabeth was born abt 1826 Cockham Berkshire.

Elizabeth married Robert Lacey in 1859 in Berkshire.

Robert Lacey was born abt 1832 in Cockham berkshire.
I have found the couple on Census up until 1870.
Robert died in 1874.

I have obtained all this info from what has been transcribed on the census's.

What I want to know, is if anyone can find out who \Elizabeths parents were?
I can find a marriage record for Robert, but without a maiden name for Elizabeth i am stumped.

Any help on this lady greatly apppreciated,

I don't think she remarried as I found her in the 1881 census living as a widow in Cockham berks

Thank you for all your replies. I have just looked at the 1861 census I have for robert lacey, and it lists Elizabeth Lacey as his wife then I do believe it lists 4 step children. The copy I have is not very clear and my ancestry sub has ran out, please could someone look up the 1861 census for Robert Lacey born 1832 cockham, and let me know which name the step children are listed with.


Sorry to be a pain, but this will be a great way to see if we have the correct Elizabeth.
