Has anybody got any good sources of photographs of Canal Side (especially Park Lane) in mid to late 1800's?
I am especaiily interested in any boat building realated industries.

Canal side? Was that from the Whimsey Bridge to Seven Stars Road along "the cut"?
Seven Stars Road from Oldbury Low Town led into Park Lane. I think.I've only just got up but off the top of my head and without googling!!

Just had a look on the photo gallery on here.That's Canal Side looking towards Seven Stars Road/Park Lane on Oldbury Canal.The Mecca Bingo Hall is on your left and the photo has been taken from Whimsey Bridge.
