I'm actually reading The Time Travellers Wife as an e-book. I must admit, it's not the same as feeling the paper under my fingers but it is far more convenient for reading whilst commuting.

Plus, they're a lot more user friendly. You can alter the text size so it suits your needs, I don't have to use a bookmark to remember where I'd got to, and no matter where I am I've got the book with me.

I'm a couple of chapters in... I know what you mean about slushy. That's okay once in a while, but not every book. The language seems pretty descriptive, and the danish translation 's okay (can't always rely on that).
