Question Jimmy...cos you are the only one playing!

if father is an eli for that ann maria

what do we need to connect to the Maria Bates that married George Roberts?

cos I think that is Maria with family in 1861

born Blackheath RR
so Waterfall Lane is good for that area

really need that ann maria on the 1871

Thanks for all the information, was not around on Thursday, went to see the Sound of Music, whilst I think the film is great, no sure about the stage play at the Hipp. Cannot decide if I liked it or not. Would have preferred to talk to someone on here. :P
Joseph Roberts (my grandad) was born in 1894 as I have a copy of his birth certificate. On it it states Maria Roberts formerly Beaks as his mother. However I have a copy of the marriage certificate from St John's Church in Dudley on September 10th 1882 as it states Maria Bates who was 21, father Eli Bates. I cannot find anything further back. Plus I don't know if it was Beakes,Beaks, or Bates. The witnesses was Samuel Bates and James Bagnall, perhaps Maria's mother's maiden name was Bagnall, who knows.

Just adding some of this lot now

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =759890699

I still think that Maria Bates Beaks whatever
is
Ann Maria Bailey/Baitey Hill
waiting for final conf on that birth certif

but who is that Jane Bagnall wit?
