I don't do tents , used to camp when I was in the cycling club many, many years ago , and I only slept in a tent once and that was enough  I joined a Youth Hostel Ass so I could sleep there in a bed and joined up with rest of the club after breakfast.

I was actually thinking of going camping! Only the summer is about over and the tent still needs cleaning. maybe I'll get my act together next year?

I was in the boy scouts and i loved camping.
Around the camp fire singing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbvoW7u48k0
and
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdE8F6mb ... re=related

Then the girl guides would leave us while we sang

Good night, ladies
Good night, ladies
Good night, ladies
We're going to leave you now

Merrily we roll along
Roll along, roll along.
Merrily we roll along
Over the deep blue sea

and we'd all douse the fire before going back to our tents.

As me and the other half are bikers we do the odd rally, but I must admit one night in a tent is enough for both of us these days. Although on the 18th September we're off to Mallory Park for Triumph live so we'll be camping for that 8)
