Inception

Post by Rob »

My youngest daughter has just seen the film Inception with Leonard whatisname and she asked me what does the word Inception mean.
I had no idea!!
I looked in the dictionary well i googled it( something i very rarely do!!) and it said " noun-an event that is a beginning" !! What? :?
When would you use this word in everyday conversation?
Probably me i know and people use this word all the time but i've never heard of it but then again i'm i'd never heard of "innit".

It is used quite often.

Did she understand the movie? It is rather confusing. I think you would have to watch it several times to get the whole plot. A bit like Donnie Darko, one of my favorite movies.

It does mean beginning, the inception of something is the beginning. I do agree, when would you use this - don't think I ever have :?

I went to see Inception tonight. Thought it a very good film so recommend it to any one. I was worrie dthat I wouldn't follow the plot but actually it made more sense than the last two James Bond films :-)
