I have a wall that I cannot start to knock down.
I am looking for information on Catherine Ferguson Beattie.
She was born June 1888 in Salford.Lancashire.England. Parish:-Broughton
Parents were Thomas Beattie & Elizabeth Grierson ( I do have the birth certificate)
I have been able to trace her in the 1891 & 1901 census,after that there is no trace of her at all.
Hope someone "may" have suggestion??

I've had a look at the on-line records and all I can find is a Birth. This makes me wonder about the Census Records "or is it me"? I tried various spellings, but didn't come up with a likely candidate. Obviously you won't find any further Census Records so Marriage is the hope, Death if she died a spinster. I had no luck.
I guess it's down to parish records. Salford would be Greater Manchester now. I'd be interested to know why I couldn't find Catherine in the Census'
