*Archive?* edward boaz jones

Post by vahill »

Hey yall!! Well I am looking for information on my great great great grandfather. His name is Edward Boaz Jones he was born in Llangyhfal, denbingshire, north wales. Born in 1857. He was married to Jeannette. They had a son John Isaac born in 1881. He sailed to the USA in 1881 from Liverpool leaving behind his wife and unborn son. Never returning to Wales. In the states he married Laura A. Henry. I have the family line from him and Laura. But I am having trouble finding anything about him in Wales. Like who is parents were and so on.

Info I do have but am not sure is correct. Any info letting me know if my findings are correct or incorrect would be great also any other info would be amazing!!!

Edwards father Isaac Jones B- about 1820 in Vale of Clwyd Denbigh, Wales
Father- Robert Jones
Mother- Ann Lloyd
Edwards mother Jane Jones B- June 1820 in Resacaci, Flint, Wales
D- 9 Dec 1913 Coedpoeth, Denbigh, Wales
Father- Henry Jones
Mother- Grace Davies

Jane and Isaac were married 4 Feb 1845 in Hollywell, Flint, Wales
Thanks for any help I can get!!

If it's any help "Resacaci" is probably the same place as Rhys-y-Cae.
I grew up in this area (just outside of Mold), so it's interesting to see place names I know.
