*Arc tbc* ---Beatrice Lillian Roberts (nee Southall)

Post by Sally Weeks »

Hi everyone,
I am hoping someone can help me on this one.
My mothers parents were Idris Roberts born 1899 died 1953 who married Beatrice Lillian Southall born 1906 died 1958 - this part I have but, between 1953 and 1958 my grandmother Beatrice married again, the guys name was Joe and that is all anyone I have spoken to knows.
If anyone has any info on who he is and when and where they married etc I would really appreciate it.
:? :? :?
Regards
Sally

Hi everyone,
Thank you all soooo much for getting back to me so soon.
I have as yet no certificates for anyone.
Idris Roberts was born in Glamorgan Wales 1899 and died I believe in Halesowen in 1953
Beatrice was born in Shropshire is all I have and died in Halesowen I believe on 28th April 1958. She is buried in Colley Gate - I remember as a child going to the grave with my mother but not sure exactly where it is - I know it was a small graveyard and seemed very old. Through a fence to the side was a big field I used to play on while mom tended the grave.
It is good to get a surname of the bloke she married - everyone hated him aparently when she died she wanted to be cremated but he had her buried and no-one heard from him after so don't know what happened to him.
Thanks again everyone
Sally
