The Daniel I have was born in 1749, so I must be looking before then, probably around the Woodham walter area, but that might be my mistake!!!??

I have existing info on Daniel Rolfe who married Anne dessy baker in 1774 and had two children Edward and Daniel, but I cant for the life of me find father Daniels parents!!

Yes it's hard to tell if you have the right one when you get that far back. Have you looked anywhere else other than the IGI? Have you tried Parish Records, or a Document Search etc?
