I think this is the marriage, but Carolines isnt showing because of transcription.
Dec 1870 Durham
Malachi Round 10a 564
Caroline Troman 10a 56[14]

I can only see 1 other of around the age but her place of birth is Walsall and Carolines birth place is Rowley 1871 census.

Looks like the same one to me...

Incidently NL..Whilst on this family....Could Carolines mother
NANCY'S name be WESTON not WESSON. Thus tying up to this
family here: http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =511543752 Hence
the name ERSKINE ...and Josephs mothers name could be NANCY.
Carolines Grandfather Joseph is also down as a Tracemaker on Nancy's
Marriage.....Samuel WESTON b.1825 is reg.as son of Joseph & Mary
Weston...Tracemaker. Is this worth following up.?? :?:

but the census is consistent for her
we need her on the 1841
and Joseph and Mary on 1841

Is this the Joseph we cant find on 1841 at all
and in 1851 he is with son

I think you are right
there is a big gap

we have Erskine at Park lane cradley in 1817
then nothing for John who is b abt 1820
then we have Samuel at St Peters Cradley in 1825

I think we connect up but add a note why we have connected ....

still would like Reuben and Nancy in 1841 though

but I think connect up with reasons ....what you think Sparks
