Hello everyone, and merry christmas! NL I haven't fallen off the face of the planet, just been totally disorganised when it comes to genealogy lol.

I am seeking help looking for my Kendricks on the census and in parish records please? My gx2 grandfather was Thomas Richard Kendrick b 1st June 1846 Beauty Bank, Stourbridge. He was the final child of James Kendrick and Sarah Hill, but I have not found any marriage for them. James died sometime during Sarah's pregnancy with Thomas, he is listed as deceased on the birth cert.

I think James was the son of Thomas Kendrick and Sarah, ch 12 Oct 1806 (extracted, IGI) Old swinford. Brothers found are Joseph, ch 24 June 1810
William, ch 11 Dec 1814
Richard, ch 05 Dec 1819

I found Joseph Jeavons in Stourbridge 1851, cannot find Richard Kendrick or the Bunces.

is there a bapt abt 1771?

Excellent, thank you Farside. I'd never have found them under Cendrosk!? But yes I think that is definitely my Thomas and Sarah.

NL, having checked Farside's finding, Thomas states he was born Stourbridge, but in 1841 he says not born in county.

Where Thomas & Sarah are living in '51, Bullas Yard, I checked the previous page and there is another Thomas Kendrick:

I think there is a strong likelihood that this is another (eldest) son of Thomas & Sarah, I hadn't found him before because his christening IS on the IGI but under Kendall?

New Street is next to Round Court (it's on the page before it) which is where Thomas snr and Sarah were living, so I think this is added proof of younger Thomas being their son. Who can the 3 young Kendricks be though? His children perhaps, if he'd been widowed maybe?

NL I'd be very grateful for those marriage look ups please, I'll investigate marriages for Thomas jnr. And linell, thanks for finding the Jeavons, perhaps they or the Nicklin's are connected to my Kendricks somehow.

Sarah is a Kendrick, the marriage from FREE BMD: Sarah Kendrick & William Hodgkiss Dudley Mar 1854 6c 18
Is Thomas her father? Would fit in with the Sarah who was with Thomas in 1841. Will add this to look up list.

'Frank Hodgkiss' is also born a Kendrick by the looks of things:

Hi Rachel, it is Piece 2035 folio 219 Sch 106. It is off my disc not Ancestry, I have found info from my disc before that is not on Ancestry. The Head of household is Henry Heath aged 42 a Gardener born Churchill Worcs. HTH from linell.
