She had 2 other husbands Joseph Parker (born about 1862, died Oct 1913) and William Haynes (born about 1860, died Jan 1923)

I believe that Charles and Sarah had a son Joseph b 1889 in Netherton and died about 1905

I know that they had a daughter Sarah Ann born (3 months after her father died) in Jan 1892 in Old Hill, died Feb 1975 in Cradley Heath.
She married Francis Albert Hadley on Mar 1918 in Cradley Heath

That's really all I know

This is really a reminder to me to keep track of info which I know is correct

Since I first asked the question on Sarah, I started looking at 'stuff' I had gotten from my mother-in-law

On January 3, 1905 William Haynes had requested a copy of Sarah Ann Tombes' birth certificate giving his address as Church Street, Old Hill

On January 4 1905 District of Dudley, sub distric of Rowley Regis issued a copy of her birth certificate showing her father as Charles Thomas and her mother as Sarah Ann Thomas (formerly Guest) so presumably Sarah Ann Tombes was recorded on the copy as Sarah Ann Thomas (which happens to have been her father's middle name). This is signed by James Jones, Superintendent

I am at a loss of how to sort this one out !

That sounds to me like they used the name Thomas/Tomes instead of Tombs by mistake

He is not using any middle name in those marriages or on census

might be worth looking at that birth at shipston see if father is William

What is her actual dob pls Sarah the dau
and is she Sarah Ann?
