Hit a Brick wall 1975. Anthea Chaffey Born 21 Sept 1940 and lived in Portsmouth until 1975, Single. Parents ,Chaffey lived in Southsea. Searched Census and Marriages up to 2008 with no record so probably emigrated 1975 probably to Spain. BT Tel Directory listed early 70s but no longer.I have personal effects of hers and need to return them to her.
Any advice on tracking emigrants to Australia or Spain would be great. Perhaps I get help you.

I've had a similar problem ie: reaching a dead end, record wise. On the ancestry/National Archive site there is a search option for sailings "its a free basic search" I did find a sailing with the relevant name on, to Brisbane but couldn't prove it was my relation, although it's an unusual name, also found no further records.
