Missing in the 1881 British Census

Post by kenm »

Hi,
After searching all the available online data bases I'm still unable to trace my grandmother, her parents and siblings in the 1881 census. I suspect the surname may have been mistranscribed but all the similar names I've come up with don't get a match.

They were:-

John Frederick GOULTY b Lambeth abt 1843 Lighterman
Caroline Amelia GOULTY b St. John of St. George, Stepney, Shoreditch, Kent 1847
Caroline Florence GOULTY b St. John of St. George, Stepney, Shoreditch, Kent 1873
Sidney James GOULTY b Kennington, London 1877
Amy Mary GOULTY b Pimlico 1879
Frederick Arthur GOULTY b Rotherhithe 1881

Hope someone can help.

Regards,

Ken

Thanks Rocky but it's the 1881 that's the brickwall - I've got the 1891 census already.

Thanks for responding
