In 1871 there's a Charles Lunn [born abt. 1844 in Smethwick, Staffordshire] living at Railway Terrace, Harborne, Worcestershire along with his wife Lucy [born abt. 1851 in Smethwick, Staffordshire] and their 2 sons: Frederick & George [both born abt. 1870 in Smethwick, Staffordshire]. Also living there is a sister in law: Fanny Weston [born abt. 1853 in Smethwick, Staffordshire].

In 1881 Charles [born abt 1846 in Smethwick] is a labourer at the glass works, and resides at 2 Holly Lane, Harborne with his wife Lucy [botn abt. 1849 in Smethwick] and the following children:

Thomas Frederick born abt. 1870 in Smethwick;
George Edward born abt. 1870 in Smethwick;
Sarah Elizabeth born abt. 1872 in Smethwick;
John born abt. 1874 in Smethwick;
Fanny born abt. 1875 in Smethwick;
Polly born abt. 1877 in Smethwick;
Joseph born abt. 1879 in Smethwick;
Zila born abt. 1881 in Smethwick.

Boarding with them are a boatman, Edward Atkins [born abt. 1856 in Birmingham] and his wife Lucy [born abt. 1859 Smethwick] and their daughter Alice [born abt. 1881 in Smethwick].
