Hi all,
I'm hoping someone will be able to give guidance. My Grandmother Dora Irene Hudson(nee Hill b.Woolwich 1907) died in Germany sometime between 1945 and 1950. This was while my Grandfather was serving with Control Commission Germany.
Unfortunately there is no one in the family left that can narrow down the date of her death.
I've tried the overseas deaths area as well as the Military, Consular and High Commission areas of Find My Past with no joy.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to find her death details so that I can apply for her death certificate.
Thanks.

if you can get a hold of your granfather service record it might show you in germany where he was stationed then write to the local record office
A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Thanks for your reply Peter. I've applied for his service record but as you probably know it can take some time to come through(up to 6 months).
