There is a marriage in the GRO army index
So it looks like they married overseas, I don't know how you would go about obtaining the certificate, but I'm sure someone on here will.

been given some more info on a generation back - just not sure how to investigate it!
Ilse's Parents were Gustav and Klara Fischer - Again in Austria - guessing in Klagenfurt or Judendorf

Got a german friend to ring the Register Office in Austria yesterday.
They may be able to help if I can prove a relation via birth certificate! WAHOO!
