Trying to find the parents of Ann Baker, my 3rd Great Granny on my Homer line who married Zachariah in 1845.

The two most like baptisms are:

21 Mar 1824 Anne dau.of James & Elizabeth BAKER Bilston Japanner
9 Jul 1826 Anne dau.of John & Elizabeth BAKER Bilston Wheelwright

I doubt you go from wheelwright to miner.

Baptised in Bilston but living in Sedgley is the following.

18 May 1823. Anne daughter of John and Sarah Baker. Broad Lane, Sedgley. Miner.

That is the most likely one.

Ann and Zachariah's first born is Sarah Ann Homer. Mind you he had a sister called Sarah Ann....

The Thomas Baker living next door in 1851 names his first child Sarah and he was born in Sedgley.

Probably her brother.

One thing that doesn't make sense.

The marriage is in the BMD register in the 1st Qtr 1845.

Yet the lookup says they were married in July, the 3rd quarter????
