Pete I know you don't have ancestry so you wont see that but

1841 Green Hill? HIll halesowen
William Toy 20

it then becomes Crock st
and on next page

William Toy Smith 45
Sarah Toy 40

might be useful to decipher who he is living near Wm Toy jnr

Nick if you post census post it transcribed as image for us
as not everyone has ances
go into actual image and write down and post as it says

Northern Lass wrote:I would find that Sarah Bibb prev marriage
I can't see it but only had a quick look

On the 1841 go up and down Crock St seeing if any more Toys
other than the ones we know of ie Wm Toy aged 18 and Wm Toy and Sarah

Wm Toy snr and Sarah Bibb were married prev
who to? and where?

I can move this to Brick Walls and we can then leave it to be chipped away at

The IGI has a marriage

Henry Bibb to Sarah Smart 25th Dec 1823 Dudley

It is, alas, member submitted and does not give the church, just Dudley. Judging by the other entries in the batch then it may have been done by someone looking at Smart family.

So, question is: if it is not in the IGI as an extracted entry then which church is more likely?

I put in Bibb as surname and then just looked down until I saw a marriage that looked possible as far as date and place went. Good thing it wasn't to a Smith!

I'll add the lookup NL but that list looks terribly long!
