Researching the Toy(e) family

Post by NickToye »

Hi,

My name is Nick Toye I am from Chester but live in Port Sunlight, Wirral. I am currently researching my family history and have been doing so for 9 months now, and I'm addicted.

I have managed to trace my family name back to Ridgacre in Worcestershire, William Toy b abbt 1796.

I have lots of gaps I need to fill in but I will start a new thread about that in the appropriate board.

Thanks for having me.

Nick

Hello Nick,
This is my first text on the site.I have been researching the TOYE family for 18 years now and I am back to around 1724.I do know of the family line you are following infact I helped Anthony Toye out with his tree several years ago. Anthony lives in Ridgacre Road I dont believe he is on the internet unfortunately and he is the only child of Edward Toye 1911-1992 and Edna Bissell. Please let me know if I can help.I live in Belfast I was born on the East Coast of England and my ancestors come fro Sutton Coldfield, Erdington ,Handsworth and Birmingham in general.
