I'm not a fan of Gordon Brown.He lacks Blair's charisma and he should have stayed Chancellor of the Exchequer but what he said supposedly in private is just plain unlucky.
He hasn't condoned a burglary,he hasn't walked away from a car leaving his mistress drowned.
He hasn't dropped his trousers while smoking a cigar.
Let's get it back in proportion please.He called a woman,supposedly off camera/microphone,a bigot!!
And he mentioned it himself at the beginning of the debate NL!! You have to learn to stay focussed!!

What surprised me was that the Labour party didn't simply refer to the dictionary definition:

"A bigot is a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices."


As far as I saw the lady did stick to her opinions (not a bad thing) and if Gordon had called her an obstinate old bat then it would have been less of a problem. For some reason they just ran off with the bigot referring to the imigration issue so having overtones of a more serious nature.

Shows a lack of education if you ask me. I swear I heard someone on Sky News tonight saying "gaffed", as a verb. I ask you! What is the world coming to?

Just as well they too my right to vote off me
