Why do they make dusters yellow?

Post by gardener »

I mean, what is the point? It makes them impossible to wash with anything else because they have so much loose dye in them, and who has enough dusters to make up a full load in the washer? Why can't they be a nice off-white or something, I'm sure they would polish just as well.

I haven't seen the white ones Northern Lass or the mitts, seen the mitts for cleaning cars are the the same thing.

Jan's an expert on using Big Mitts !! She'd had one for ages,no dust in her house no matter how much she pretends!!
I love these quirky inventions.Last week i bought a duo-bag especially for watching television with your partner. You both slip into it and sit cosily on the settee watching your fave programme. We've just watched Crimewatch in it!!
But to get back on topic why are dusters yellow?
Or maybe why are submarines yellow or butter or pee? Maybe it's all linked to each other?
Yellow is the colour of my true love''s hair in the morning when we rise.
That's it !!!! Dusting,springcleaning and yellow.Sunlight!! Daffodills !!

Ah, Rob! Your duo-bag sounds much more romantic than something that's being advertised on TV here ... Doona suits! You don't need a doona or blankets. You just lie down in your doona suit and sleep cosy all night or you can sit up and watch TV in it. I have a whole lot of questions  I'll have to freeze the image next time it's on and inspect these suits very closely.

Yellow dusters? Makes them easy to see. For people like me who are constantly interrupting themselves in the middle of a task to go and do something else. "Now, what was I doing? And where did I put the ....?"
Some mistakes are too much fun
to only make once.
