-61911 Definitely looks like A Son although the A looks as though it has been added by another handwriting as it doesn't match the A for Alfred I'm wondering whether the enumerator questioned her and changed it as the ink for the A looks more like the ink in his signature. Also other changes made eg no of children etc crossed out.
I can't account on the other census for 9 children --indeed Alfred seems to spring out of nowhere. -- born elsewhere and not appearing in 1901
